About Hidrellez Festival
Hidrellez is a centuries-old Turkic-Tatar spring celebration (May 6th) marking renewal of nature and fertility. Inscribed on UNESCO's Intangible Heritage List in 2017, the festival is organized by the Democratic Union of Tatar Muslims (UDT) to preserve this ethnic tradition and promote intercultural dialogue.
