Hardanger Music Festival

Hardanger Musikkfest

Lofthus, Norway

Aug 26 - 30, 2026ConfirmedSource

Each summer, the orchards and churches of Lofthus in the Hardanger region fill with music for the Hardanger Musikkfest. Founded in 1996, it weaves classical and folk together, often with the keening Hardanger fiddle, amid the fruit trees of Norway's historic orchard country, in a celebration of music and landscape alike.

Media proof note

The Hardanger Music Festival record is date-tracked, but stronger reviewed Field Guide media would make it easier to inspect.
