Each September, the Styrian village of Kleinsölk holds its centuries-old Guardian Angel church fair. A morning Holy Mass joins the ceremonial Almabtrieb, the homecoming of flower-decked cattle from the high pastures, in a rural celebration so old that Archduke Johann himself noted it back in 1819.
The Guardian Angel Church Fair record is date-tracked, but stronger reviewed Field Guide media would make it easier to inspect.

Schutzengel-Kirchtag Kleinsölk
Turnau (im Sölktal), Austria
Each September, the Styrian village of Kleinsölk holds its centuries-old Guardian Angel church fair. A morning Holy Mass joins the ceremonial Almabtrieb, the homecoming of flower-decked cattle from the high pastures, in a rural celebration so old that Archduke Johann himself noted it back in 1819.
Dating back over 200 years (even Erzherzog Johann noted it in 1819), this kirchtag celebrates the feast of the guardian angels for the local parish church. It reflects the agrarian lifestyle of the Sölktal region, giving thanks for the alpine grazing season. The event reinforces community bonds in Kleinsölk and draws visitors for its authentic folkloric elements, like the crowning of cattle and serving of home-made pastries.
