In Herzegovina and Central Bosnia, Catholic traditions are often centered on community and parish life. The Hum pilgrimage reflects Mostar's Catholic heritage (sometimes called "Mostarska Kalvarija") and underscores the resilience of faith in this region. It binds families and neighbors together each Easter.
Participants should dress modestly (covering shoulders and knees) and maintain silence during prayers.
Attendance can be appropriate while active documentation is not. Let local boundaries define your role.
