Aug 16, 2026Expected
Each year, the Gagauz village of Gaidar celebrates its weaving heritage with a carpet festival. Weavers gather to show the patterns once made by every bride for her dowry, in a celebration of a home craft handed down from the Gagauz people's nomadic Turkic ancestors and still woven with pride today.
The Gagauz Carpets (Carpet Weaving Festival) record is date-tracked, but stronger reviewed Field Guide media would make it easier to inspect.
