Forgács Festival

Forgács Fesztivál

Covasna, Romania

Aug 7 - 8, 2026ExpectedSource

Each year, the Székely town of Covasna celebrates its woodworking heritage with the Forgács Festival, named for the curls of wood shavings. Carving and woodcraft demonstrations join folk music, dance, and displays of old heirlooms, in a grassroots celebration of the rural crafts at the heart of this Transylvanian community.

Media proof note

The Forgács Festival record is date-tracked, but stronger reviewed Field Guide media would make it easier to inspect.
