Festa da Flor

Apr 30 - May 24, 2026ConfirmedSource

Each May, the island of Madeira bursts into bloom for the Festa da Flor, a celebration of the place long called the Island of Flowers. Children build a Wall of Hope flower by flower, and a grand parade of floral floats winds through Funchal, filling the spring streets with color and scent.
