Fishermen’s Day (Hafnarfjörður)

On the first Sunday of June, the Icelandic town of Hafnarfjörður celebrates its life by the sea with Fishermen's Day. Festivities at the harbor honor the crews and the catch, in a warm celebration of the maritime identity of one of Iceland's oldest fishing ports.
