Festival of Herbs, Mountain and Tourism (Enyovden)

Празник на билките, планината и туризма (Еньовден)

Troyan, Bulgaria

Jun 27 - 28, 2026Expected

Each June 24, on the midsummer feast of Enyovden, the Bulgarian town of Troyan celebrates the healing herbs of the Balkan Mountains. Hikers and herb-gatherers climb the green slopes for a festival of nature, folklore, and mountain tourism, in a celebration rooted in the old belief that herbs picked on St. John's Day hold their greatest power.
