Each year, the Gagauz capital of Comrat celebrates the many peoples of Moldova with the festival Unity Through Diversity. Folk groups of every ethnicity bring music, dance, and tradition together, in a celebration launched in 2023 under the country's interethnic relations program to honor the richness of its mixed society.
