Feb 6 - 7, 2026ExpectedSource

Each February, the women of Espinosa de Henares don traditional Alcarrian costume and symbolically take charge of the town for the feast of Saint Agatha. Gathering at the Town Hall to claim the staff of office, they lead a day of celebration, in a custom that joins the veneration of the patron saint of women with old village tradition.
