Each Fastelavn, the roof of the CopenHill power plant in Copenhagen fills with costumed children. They decorate barrels and take turns at 'slå katten af tønden', the barrel-beating game, in a celebration that brings the old Danish carnival custom to a strikingly modern urban landmark.
