Faroese Seafood Festival

Ein dagur á grynnuni

Tórshavn, Faroe Islands

May 2, 2026Expected

Each May, the Faroese capital of Tórshavn celebrates the bounty of the sea with "A Day at the Sea Bank." Free tastings of salmon, mackerel, mussels, and more join educational exhibits along the harbor, in a festival begun in 2015 that draws thousands to honor the seafood at the very heart of Faroese life.

Media proof note

The Faroese Seafood Festival record is date-tracked, but stronger reviewed Field Guide media would make it easier to inspect.
