Enik Festival (Festival of the Clethra Tree)

Фестивал на зелениката

Malko Tarnovo, Bulgaria

May 9 - 10, 2026Expected

Each spring, a Strandzha mountain village celebrates the bloom of the rare zelenika, a relic shrub found nowhere else, with the Enik festival. Nature hikes, chain dances, folk songs, and a craft and food fair join environmental care with tradition, in a celebration that moves from village to village across these wild Bulgarian hills.
