Each February, Kyiv remembers the Heavenly Hundred, the protesters killed during the 2014 Maidan uprising that became Ukraine's Revolution of Dignity. The city holds memorial services and a candlelit procession to the alley that bears their name, honoring those who died for the country's democratic future.
