Dark Season Blues

Longyearbyen, Norway

Oct 15 - 17, 2026Expected

Each late October, the town of Longyearbyen warms its darkening days with the Dark Season Blues. Blues musicians fill the polar twilight with music the locals simply call 'the blues', in a celebration begun in 2003 to bring warmth and community to the start of the Svalbard night.

Media proof note

The Dark Season Blues record is date-tracked, but stronger reviewed Field Guide media would make it easier to inspect.
