Each August, the town of Cuéllar celebrates its patron, Our Lady of the Rosary, with a famous bull-running festival. Bulls thunder down from the fields through the old streets to the ring each morning, in one of the most renowned bull events in the region and a tradition at the heart of the town's identity.

Spectators watch the bullfights from the arena stands. It is a traditional taurine spectacle requiring a purchased ticket.
