Armored knights clash in tournaments, archers compete, and a living-history camp springs up by the river, in a vivid celebration of Ukraine's medieval and Cossack past.
This festival celebrates Ukrainian medieval and Cossack heritage by reenacting historical life on the Dniester. The fortress setting is itself a monument to Bukovina’s military history. Attendees can see blacksmiths, craftsmen, and hear folk-rock music, linking present-day Ukrainians with their historical roots.
