In line with Catholic social teaching, this concert was created (first in 2015) to bring cultural enrichment and solidarity to disadvantaged people. Organized by Vatican-sponsored groups, it reflects Pope Francis’s emphasis on serving the poor and uses classical and sacred music as a form of outreach. Over the years it has featured renowned composers and conductors, underscoring the Vatican’s role in blending art and faith.
