Columbus Festival

Festival Colombo

Porto Santo, Portugal

Sep 17 - 20, 2026Expected

Each September, the streets of Vila Baleira on Porto Santo become a living history book for the Festival Colombo. Over four days, costumed locals reenact Christopher Columbus's stay on the island during the Age of Discovery, in a colorful celebration of the legend that the great explorer once lived on this small Madeiran isle.

Media proof note

The Columbus Festival record is date-tracked, but stronger reviewed Field Guide media would make it easier to inspect.
