For over three decades, the town of Sfântu Gheorghe has gathered Romanian choirs and folk groups for a festival of Christmas carols and winter customs. Held in a Hungarian-majority county, it brings together performers from across the region, in a heartfelt celebration that keeps Romanian Orthodox caroling traditions alive in this corner of Transylvania.
