Each winter, the Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv celebrates its many peoples with the Chornomorskyi Steppe festival, first held in 2024. Ethnic performances, talks, workshops, and films explore the traditions of a city long home to Ukrainians, Greeks, Germans, and more, in a celebration built around the theme of unity in diversity.
