Each August, the Asturian mountain village of Arenas de Cabrales celebrates its famous blue cheese with a great contest. Producers bring their finest wheels of the pungent, cave-aged Cabrales to be judged and tasted, alongside folklore and festivities, in a celebration of a cheese-making heritage rooted high in the Picos de Europa.
