Each winter, the Hungarian town of Mohács chases away the cold with Busójárás, when men in frightening masks and shaggy fur costumes roam the streets making a glorious racket. Their noisy parade drives out winter and marks the climax of the Farsang carnival season, in one of Hungary's most famous folk traditions.
