Burgebrach, Germany

Jun 25, 2026ExpectedSource

Each midsummer, the village of Burgebrach lights a Saint John's fire at its sports ground. The local sports club gathers the community on the weekend after June 24 for the Johannisfeuer, in a celebration that carries the Franconian midsummer bonfire tradition of the Steigerwald.

Media proof note

The Burgebrach Saint John’s Fire record is date-tracked, but stronger reviewed Field Guide media would make it easier to inspect.
