Bumbar Feast

Fešta od bumbar

Barban, Croatia

Nov 6, 2026Expected

Each autumn, the Barban area celebrates its chestnut harvest with the Bumbar Feast. Villagers gather in the square to roast and taste fresh chestnuts over local wine and folk music, in a celebration that revives the old chestnut-gathering customs of this corner of Istria.

Media proof note

The Bumbar Feast record is date-tracked, but stronger reviewed Field Guide media would make it easier to inspect.
