All summer long, the Lithuanian city of Panevėžys fills its main square with brass for the Brass Summer festival. Nearly every Friday from May to September, local and visiting wind ensembles play free concerts under the open sky, in the longest-running orchestral festival in Lithuania, born of the city's deep love of music.
