Each May, the Portuguese city of Braga turns back nearly two thousand years to its days as the Roman city of Bracara Augusta. Over five days, costumed parades, gladiator games, workshops, and a Roman market fill the historic center, in a vivid living-history festival celebrating the city's ancient roots.
