Created to engage both locals and visitors, Bilbao Basque Fest features five thematic areas (Gourmet, Culture, Music, Cinema, Sport) including food tastings, live music and sports demos. It is promoted by the City Council to showcase local wines and gastronomy, promote Euskera culture, and highlight traditions in an urban context. The festival often uses emblematic city spaces like the Arenal and parks for its events.
