The Balkan Festival of Folk Songs and Dances is an international folklore festival held annually in Ohrid, North Macedonia. Founded in 1962, it is the oldest folklore festival of its kind in the Balkans. Vocal and instrumental artistic groups and solo singers from multiple countries present authentic tradition and culture through dances, songs, customs, traditional clothes, and instruments. The festival is a member of two UNESCO associations: CIOFF (International Council of Organizations of Folklore Festivals and Folk Arts) and IOFA (International Organization of Folk Art). The 64th edition was held July 3–7, 2025, under the patronage of the President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia.
