Ashford-in-the-Water Well Dressing and Flower Festival

Ashford-in-the-Water, United Kingdom

May 30 - Jun 7, 2026ConfirmedSource

Each year around Trinity Sunday, the Derbyshire village of Ashford-in-the-Water decorates its six wells with intricate pictures made from flower petals, clay, and other natural materials. This old custom of well dressing blends ancient reverence for water with Christian thanksgiving, in a beautiful springtime tradition of the Peak District.
