Argonavtski festival
Vrhnika, Slovenia

Vrhnika lies at what was the end of the Roman road from Aquileia, and it has long linked waterways. The legend of the Argonauts, who supposedly transported the ship Argo through Vrhnika on their way home, is part of local folklore. The festival honors this myth and Vrhnika’s identity as a historic crossroads between land and water routes.
