Each year the town of Celje hosts Slovenia's biggest beekeeping fair, with stalls of honey, hives, and the newest tools of the trade, plus plenty of talks for the country's many beekeepers. Slovenia has more beekeepers per person than anywhere in the world, and APIS is a proud celebration of that love of the hive.
