Anniversary of the 1848/49 Hungarian Revolution and Freedom Fight

Az 1848/49-es forradalom és szabadságharc évfordulója

Budapest, Hungary

Mar 15, 2027Confirmed

Every March 15, Hungary remembers the 1848 revolution, when the people of Pest rose up, bloodlessly at first, for freedom and independence. Budapest fills with flags and ceremonies, and many pin on a red-white-green cockade, in one of the country's proudest national days.
