Alagón Moors and Christians Parade

Moros y Cristianos de Alagón

Alagón, Spain

Sep 6, 2030Expected

Only once every five years does the Aragonese town of Alagón stage its Moors and Christians parade, the only one of its kind in the region. Costumed marchers reenact the medieval struggle between Moor and Christian to the beat of drums, honoring the Virgen del Castillo in a spectacle worth the long wait.
