Almabtrieb Achenkirch – Pertisau

Each autumn in the Tyrolean Achensee valley, the cattle come down from their summer mountain pastures wearing flowers and bells for the journey home. Crowds line the route from Achenkirch to Pertisau to welcome them, sharing a hearty brunch and music along the way, in a cheerful Alpine farming tradition.
