Aalborg Carnival

Aalborg Karneval

Aalborg, Denmark

May 23, 2026ConfirmedSource

Each spring, the Danish city of Aalborg throws what it proudly calls the largest carnival in northern Europe, a burst of color and costume in late May. Tens of thousands take to the streets for the grand parade, in a celebration the city's young people started back in 1983 to welcome the spring.
