Each midsummer, the banks of the Stryi River at Zhytachiv fill with the rites of Ivana Kupala for Udech-Fest. Bonfires, wreaths, and old solstice customs gather the community, in a celebration of the centuries-old Slavic feast of nature, fertility, and purification.
