Each year, the region of Bukovina celebrates its many cultures with Bukovynski Zustrichi, an international folklore festival born in 1990. Folk groups with Ukrainian, Romanian, Polish, and other roots come together for parades, music, and dance, reuniting communities once divided by borders.
The Bukovynske Zustrichi (International Folklore Festival, Chernivtsi) record is date-tracked, but stronger reviewed Field Guide media would make it easier to inspect.

This festival arose in the post-Soviet era as a revival of Bukovina’s multiethnic folk traditions. It brings together folk ensembles from Bukovinian diaspora communities in Poland, Romania, and Hungary, reinforcing cross-border cultural ties. Held in Chernivtsi in summer, it underscores Bukovina’s unique cultural mosaic.
