Preveza Jazz FestivalΦεστιβάλ Τζαζ Πρέβεζας

An annual jazz music festival held on the Preveza waterfront, featuring Greek and international jazz ensembles. Founded in 2003 by the local municipality and philharmonic orchestra, it attracts around 15,000–20,000 visitors over three days (end of May) 1 2. Concerts are free to attend in outdoor seaside venues. The festival showcases local talent (e.g. the Preveza school jazz band) and acclaimed groups (e.g. vocal ensembles from Eastern Europe), blending traditional jazz with modern styles. It has become a signature cultural event for the city each spring.

This festival reflects Preveza’s cultural openness to international music while promoting local youth through regular school jazz programs.
