The Aegina Fistiki Fest (Φεστιβάλ Φιστικιού Αίγινας) is a popular late-summer festival celebrating Aegina’s famed pistachio crop. Since 2009 it has featured a week-long food fair along the Aegina Town seafront, showcasing pistachios and related delicacies, alongside cultural events and concerts 1 2. It highlights the island’s agricultural heritage and local gastronomy.
Aegina’s economy and cultural identity are closely tied to its pistachios (a PDO product). The festival reinforces local pride in this agricultural tradition and supports Aegean island culture.
