Kralendijk
Kralendijk (called Playa in Papiamentu) is Bonaire's administrative capital and the center of the island's externally-facing cultural calendar. It hosts the Kralendijk Carnival parade (distinct from the Rincon parade), Luna di Emansipashon events, and serves as the seat of the Public Entity Bonaire (OLB). Kralendijk represents the coastal, administrative, more Dutch-influenced side of Bonairean culture, in counterpoint to Rincon's inland folk-tradition custodianship.
