A village-based midsummer celebration in Zhytomyr Polissya, reviving ancient Kupala Day rites. Participants weave wreaths, sing folk songs, leap bonfires and enact rituals by the river. Planners emphasize fire–water purification and the search for the fern-flower, with costumed folklore ensembles and a staged “Magic of Kupala Night” drama each year 1.
