An annual summer festival celebrating the unique Gorals (Carpathian Highlanders) of northeastern Slovakia. The event features traditional Goral music, dance, costumes and crafts alongside contemporary performances. Held at 1200m altitude in the Bachledka area, it draws local villagers and visitors to experience folkloric concerts, a cultural parade and children’s folk programs 1 2.
The Gorals are an ethnographic group in the Carpathians with distinct dialects, dress and customs.
