A traditional mid-June food and cultural fair in Izola, celebrating the local olive oil, wine, and fishing heritage 1 2. It features stalls of coastal winegrowers and olive producers, tastings of olive oil and wine products, local seafood dishes (brodet, sardines), and artisans selling cheese, pastries, pasta, honey and crafts. Live folk music accompanies this community-centered festival.
Combines the Istrian traditions of winegrowing, olive cultivation and fishing in one festival. By holding a sampling and award event for the Mayor’s wine and oil, it connects modern agribusiness with historical food customs of Izola’s coast.
