Festivalul Folcloric Otopeni is an annual regional folk festival focused on Romanian traditional music and dance. Held each September in Otopeni town, it features performances by professional folk ensembles and local dance troupes, celebrating authentic Romanian folklore. In 2024 (its 20th edition) it showcased decades of tradition with over 3 days of folk concerts and workshops 1. Attendees experience richly choreographed dances and folk songs representing Muntenia and other regions.
