The Ponto d'Orvalho (Dew Point) Festival is a three-day multidisciplinary celebration of art, ecology, and agriculture in Montemor-o-Novo. Held in the Freixo do Meio estate and Convento de São Domingos, it combines guided nature walks, communal meals with local chefs, site-specific music and sound installations, and eco-art workshops. Attendees immerse in the Alentejo montado landscape, exploring the links between culture and environment.
Ponto d'Orvalho was created by local cultural organizations to reconnect communities with the Alentejo’s traditional montado (cork oak) landscapes and rural heritage. It reflects a modern focus on sustainability and Portuguese arts, encouraging a deeper understanding of how food, music, and environment define the region’s identity.
