A free summer music festival held at Xwejni Bay (near Qolla l-Bajda Battery) in Marsalforn, Gozo. Featuring popular Maltese artists (pop and dance acts) and local bands, Xwejni Music Fest is organized by the Cultural Heritage Directorate to promote local talent 1. Its 2025 edition (3rd) took place on July 26 with performances by StraitAhead, Ivan Grech, and others 2.
This concert series reflects Gozo’s modern youth culture and leisure scene, using a picturesque coastal venue. It builds community by providing a local platform for music largely aimed at Gozo’s younger residents and their families.
