A historic equestrian tournament held annually in Ascoli Piceno, Marche. Knights representing the city’s ten Quintieri (neighborhoods) compete by charging a ring (traguardo) with a lance. It is a central festival for Ascoli’s medieval heritage.
Dating originally to Roman times and revived in modern era, the Quintana re-enacts medieval pageantry. Each neighborhood showcases elaborate costumes and banners, defining local pride and continuity with history.
