An annual summer concert series set in the forests and villages of the Mátra region. It features outdoor classical and folk music performances in scenic natural “concert halls” (churches, matins, clearings) across the countryside 1 2. Started over two decades ago, this festival reflects the region’s Palóc folk culture and the practice of combining art with nature. It integrates classical chamber music and traditional Hungarian folk in rustic settings, strengthening community identity by bringing world-renowned artists to Mátra’s small villages.
